Inspired by Bob Simmons' revolutionary design of the 1950's, the Paragon Mini Simmons embraces many of the design elements that have made this shape so popular.
The Paragon Mini Simmons is all about speed and flow. The front third of the board is very flat (speed), while the rest of the board transitions from a single to double concave with vee out the tail (loose). The rails are rolled and forgiving, yet they blend into a hardened edge toward the tail. Finally, the outline is fat and wide, allowing for ridiculous down-the-line speed.
This board excels in small conditions and it will guarantee to increase your wave count. Given the outline and volume of this board, we recommend going 4-6 inches shorter than your standard shortboard.

Pretty great all around. I had exploded the tail on my 5’6 paragon quad Simmons and now 3 sessions on the 5’4 in knee to shoulder had been really fun, I put in keel fins, it handles great is slidey and fast. Prompt delivery and good packaging, only a small pressure ding.
I wasnt sure about ordering a board online, but the price and shape of this mini simmons was exactly what I was looking for. I havent had this much fun on a retro board in a while. I have tons of short boards and a long board for when it gets really small, but THIS board outshined all of them for surf under head high.
The board pretty much catches everything, super responsive, and SO FAST. I think I really enjoy how fast the board goes once on plane, I can clear mushy sections and get to the open face or pump down the line and float up some white water. This mini simmons has really opened up my surfing because it allows me to catch so many waves like a long board but also be able to turn and do floaters like a short board.
Comes with Future fins, glassing is solid and I actually like the hot colors. Shipping was fast and affordable.
I am 6'2, 200 lbs and this board has more than enough float and foam for me to catch anything under head high surf. Overall, I am super stoked with this board and have already told my friends about it. Retro fun!
I am loving my new Mini Simmons!! Been riding this most of the summer and every time I get on it, I feel like I'm on a surf trip...warm water and even if the waves are alright, I am having a blast! This board generates tons of speed and is very responsive. I took it out in head high surf and it worked amazingly well. I thought it would be too loose but I was able to make sections that I normally wouldn't make on my regular thruster. I highly recommend adding one of these models to your quiver to enjoy all types of conditions. The quality and price for a retro board like this is unbeatable!!
